President Bola Tinubu on Saturday evening returned to Abuja from United Kingdom after concluding his two-week annual vacation.
The president arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja at about 7:20 pm Saturday.
Tinubu was received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu; the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, among others.
The President departed Abuja for the UK on a two-week leave on Wednesday, October 2, a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, revealed.
On October 11, President Tinubu left the UK for Paris in France for an important engagement, according to his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
This isn’t President Tinubu’s first international trip this year. Previously, he visited Qatar in March 2024, where he welcomed Qatari investors and signed historic agreements to boost Nigeria’s economy.
He also made a private visit to France in February 2024, returning to Abuja after a two-week stay.
