In the spirit of Christmas, Brigadier General Kingsley Nwoko has reached out to Widows in Idumuje Ugboko and the neighboring communities of Aniocha north, Delta State.

The Brigadier General who reached out to over 300 Widows on Christmas Eve said it is in memory of his mother, Mrs Beatrice Buno Nwoko who went to be with the Lord about a year ago together with the launching of a Foundation in her memory.
Brigadier General Nwoko, at his residence, House 2, whitehouse, Rain oil, Idumuje Ugboko, Aniocha North, Delta State shared palliatives such as; wrappers, packets of Maggi, Salt, handwash, cash gifts etc.
Widows existing the compound after they have received their packages.
The women could not hold their joy as they rained prayer of blessings to him for putting smiles on their faces in this season of want.

If you know what it takes to be a widow or a fatherless child, then you will understand the story behind Brigadier General Nwoko reaching out to Widows and launching a Foundation in memory of her mother where widows will be taken care of.
Also, Nigeria is going through difficult times and its citizens are managing to survive the hardship that has befallen the nation. For the gesture to come now, its well deserving.
Brigadier General said he will not end at this, but will continue his good will, making sure that he puts smiles on their faces as much as he can.
Statics has shown that between 2020 and 2022, on average 21.3 percent of population in Nigeria experienced hunger.
It revealed that people in severe food insecurity would go for entire days without food, due to lack of money or other resources.
The report also said; in the past years, the prevalence of severe food insecurity among the Nigeria population has been increasing, as the demand for food is rising together with a very fast-growing population.
