The newly elected Hope president, Abayomi Benson, has said that his major priority as he is been elected is to give back to the community and not for the position.

President, Benson when asked of his project said, he has so many projects that will aimed at touching lives, stating that his most important for this year is feeding one thousand people before the end of the year. He also noted that he wants to make sure that people around him are elevated.

Abayomi Benson is the New Hope president of 2023 and 2024 for the Rotary
He said he feels elated and very happy being elected as Hope President and also sees it an opportunity to touch lives.

Also, State Governor, Rotary International, District 9114, Rotarian Ifenyinwa Rita Ejezie who was on a visit said District 9114 is one of the drops they have, according to her, “We have a total of about 150 clubs and as the district governor, it’s one of my responsibilities to go around this club before the end of the rotary year to see how they are faring; encouraging them to do more and see what they have lined up towards the end of the year, in helping humanity. That’s what we are doing today and we call it the DG visit.
“I am expected to do at least one of these visits to all the clubs that are in the district 9114, that covers the whole of Lagos and Ogun States, and the journey has just started .

She also disclosed how impressive she was at the visit, ” I am impressed, this is my second time visiting this club this year. Yesterday, I was with Rotary Club, Ikeja and it’s been wonderful all the way, and I’m sure, since Ikeja opened it well, Lagos Centre has done tremendously well , I’m sure the rest of the clubs by the time I go round visiting them, I will only have beautiful stories to tell about what they have indeed lined up to touch humanity within our societies and even across the globe,” she said.
