As part of her continuous effort to mitigate the menace of adulterated fuel in the country, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command has played host to the Executives of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Osun NSCDC boss, Commandant Agboola Sunday while welcoming the Executives to the State Command Headquarters, at Civil Defence Village, Ilesa Road, Osogbo as contained in a statement signed by the State Command’s Spokesperson, ASCII Atanda Olabisi, and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP, commended NUPENG and maintained that the meeting comes at the appropriate time as his administration has zero tolerance for vandalism and illegal dealing in fuel.
Commandant noted that proactive intelligence is needed for effective service delivery. In addition, he promised unhindered support for NUPENG in it’s fight against distribution of adulterated fuel.
Also, the Acting Chairman NUPENG, Osun State Chapter, Comrade Festus Omotosho Ishola, commended the gallantry of the Corps in the fight against vandalism.
He lauded the Corp’s cooperative effort and strong relationship with the association, and reiterated that NUPENG will continue working with the NSCDC in the fight against economic sabotage.
