Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan continuing in his giant strides of impacting security, leadership, and governance in Nigeria today received the commendation letter from the Editorial Board of National Crimewatch Magazine nominating him as the Security Icon of the Year 2023, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.

Describing Dr. Ayo Ogunsan who has been in the forefront of support of security agencies in Lagos by instrumentality of his role in the LSSTF, the magazine affirmed that he is well deserving of the award. It is noteworthy that Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has excellently marshalled the meagre resources in its disposal to provide logistics support and improve operatives’ welfare for most law enforcement agencies in Lagos state. This has ensured that crime and insecurity is nipped in the bud.

Reiterating the reason behind the recognition, the letter signed by Tony Okpe, Editor-in-chief of the magazine noted about the Chairman of Executive Group, Dr. Ogunsan: ‘The award is in recognition of your exemplary leadership quality in ensuring funding for safety and adequate security in Lagos State.’

The award ceremony which will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of the National Crimewatch Magazine will hold on 21st September 2023 at the Merit House, Abuja FCT, Nigeria.
