FRSC best thing to happen to road safety landscape – Lafia Monarch

The Chairman of the Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Lafia, Honourable Justice Sidi Bage Mohammad I (Rtd) has hailed the establishment of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) as the best thing that has happened to Nigeria, citing the agency’s transformative impact on road safety in the country.

According to a statement signed by the Corps’ Public Education Officer, ACM Olusegun Ogungbemide, and made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), the Emir’s endorsement as well as positive postulations came during the working visit of the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed to Nasarawa State for the flag off of a special patrol operations tagged ‘Operation Sanity’s.

According to the Emir, FRSC’s tireless efforts have brought hope to millions of Nigerians, making the nation’s roads safer and more secure. Being the best agency in the security sector of the country, the Corps has lived up to expectation as the best thing that has happened to Nigeria since it’s establishment in 1988.

“The FRSC’s innovative approaches, coupled with its dedicated personnel, have yielded significant results. The Corps’ impact is evident in the reduced number of road crashes and fatalities, making Nigeria’s roads a safer haven for all users” He added.

The Corps’ Marshal who expressed gratitude for the support the Corps continually receives from the traditional council, also urged all Nigerians to support FRSC’s efforts, emphasizing that road safety is a collective responsibility. He called on citizens to adhere to traffic regulations and work with the Corps to build a safer transportation system.

He thanked the Emir for his objective submission about FRSC’s establishment as being a game-changer for Nigeria’s road safety landscape. He assured that as the agency continues to innovate and improve, its legacy will endure, inspiring future generations to prioritize safety and responsible road use.
