HON Mathias Tsado is a son of the Federal Constituency grounded in the values of Nupe land, educated in service, and experienced in bridging people and policy. From the ancient city of Bida to the farmlands of Gbako and the riverine communities of Katcha, he has walked our paths, listened to our people, and carried our hopes.

The next four years will decide whether Bida/Gbako/Katcha moves forward or stays behind. We need a strong voice in Abuja one that can lobby, legislate, and deliver. Not promises, but presence. Not stories, but results. HON Mathias Tsado is stepping forward to be that voice.

- Agriculture & Food Security
Gbako and Katcha feed Niger State. Yet our farmers battle flooding, poor access roads, and lack of modern inputs. We will push for:
- Federal irrigation and flood-control projects along the Kaduna River basin
- Farm-to-market roads linking Gbako to Bida, Katcha to Badeggi
- Subsidized inputs and mechanization centers in each LGA
- Revival of the Bida rice value chain to create jobs for our youths
- Education & Youth Development
Bida is a center of learning. We must protect that legacy.
- Upgrade Federal Government College Bida and push for a Federal Polytechnic campus in Katcha
- Special scholarships for science, tech, and vocational students from all 3 LGAs
- Constituency ICT Hubs in Bida, Lemu, and Katcha to train 10,000 youths by 2031
- Sports and creative industry grants to harness our talent
- Healthcare & Social Welfare
No woman should die giving life. No child should die from a preventable disease.
- Lobby for the upgrade of Bida Federal Medical Centre and PHCs in Gbako & Katcha
- Mobile clinics for riverine communities in Katcha
- NHIS enrollment drive for traders, farmers, and artisans
- Support for widows, persons with disabilities, and the elderly
- Infrastructure & Economic Growth
- Rural electrification for off-grid communities in Gbako and Katcha
- Constituency business grants for SMEs in Bida main market, Lemu, and Katcha town
- Security, Peace & Inclusion
- Strong collaboration with traditional institutions – Etsu Nupe, Shaba Nupe, and district heads
- Federal support for community policing and vigilante groups
- Youth engagement programs to curb restiveness and drug abuse
