Lagos NDLEA boss, Liman Wali, lends support to NAOSNP Walks, pledges commitment

The Commander Narcotics, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Lagos State Commander, Abubakar Liman Wali, has endorsed the forthcoming NAOSNP Walks Against Cultism, Drug Abuse and Domestic Violence, an advocacy programme of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The Commander gave his endorsement of the event on Thursday when a delegation of the Association’s executive council led by the President, Samson Oki, paid him a courtesy visit in his Gbagada office.

“We are in this together, and we will support any activity that is geared towards reducing to the barest minimum, if not eliminating completely, the menace of drug abuse and use,” Wali said.

He gave kudos to NAOSNP for all the good reportorial, and vowed to sustain the partnership for national interest, and the benefit of the citizens of Nigeria.

In three months as the man at the helm of affairs in Lagos State, Liman’s achievements cut across arrest of peddlers, couriers and users, and seizure of illicit drugs and their likes.
