Tributes have poured in for Chief Aloysius Uwakwe, popularly known as ‘Dee Alloy’, following his death.

In a statement on Sunday, his nephew, Cajetan Onyema Nwakama, described the late Chief Uwakwe as a role model who shaped his life positively.

“When I think of Dee Alloy, I think of an uncle who helped shape my life positively. Because of him, I know what kind of dad I want to be,” Nwakama said.

He described his late uncle as a man of kindness and loyalty who “always made time for the people he loved.”

“As a man with the fear of God and love for humanity, Uncle Alloy touched lives. His impact was felt beyond his family,” Nwakama added.

He said the late Chief Uwakwe was a role model not because he had all the answers, “but because he had the right value.”

Chief Aloysius Uwakwe was a community figure known for his devotion to family and faith. Burial arrangements are yet to be announced.
