All is set for the 22nd annual conference of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) holding from November 2nd to November 3rd, 2023, just few days to go at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Announcing the theme and the date for this years conference was Chair, Conference Planning group, Molade Adenyi at a press conference held on Tuesday October 24, 2023 at its headquarters, Dolphin Estate in Lagos.
She said the theme for this years conference is “MISSION I’MPOSSIBLE: THRIVE!”.
According to her, Wimbiz annual conference, we bring in people to share their stories of trials, how they have succeeded in the midst of challenges to tell the people that can thrive in impossible mission.
Wimbiz conference is set to inspire, empower and equip participants with the tools necessary to thrive in uncertain times.
This year, WIMBIZ will be hosting conference Chairperson, Bimbo Oloyede, CEO, strictly speaking, Simon Melchior, Chief Executive Officer, ASSECO Software Nigeria Ltd, Omon Dike, Founder/CEO, U-Connect Human Resources Ltd, Leena Pylvanainen, Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, and to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS); Dr. Rufai Oseni as line up speakers.

Chair conference planning group, communications and publicity committee, Tolulope Olorundero, at the press briefing encouraged women to come out and be part of this event that will inspire and change their perspectives. “Opportunities can not come and meet you in the house. You have to go out for it and as you do it is important to get yourself prepared because opportunities can meet you at anywhere. WIMBIZ annual conference is an opportunity for you to connect, ” she said.
Also, chair conference planning group, Tech Sub-committee, Enimien Inegbedion disclosed that WIMBIZ app will be opened for virtual attendanees and those ground for live streaming, exhibition and they will also be virtual prizes.
Earlier, Executive Director, WIMBIZ, Hansatu Adegbite, the reason the conference exist is to inspire women reach their full potential and achieve great feats in their respective fields.
According to her, this year’s theme is timely and relevant as it comes against the backdrop of economic and social challenges women in Nigeria and its impact on their various careers and businesses.
During the Press Conference that was held recently, she elaborated that a significant number of the remarkable accomplishments achieved by women were as a result of attending the WIMBIZ Annual Conference.
Recently, the non profit organization, WIMBIZ held its maiden London conference with the theme: “Limitless: Embrace the Infinite,” were cuppy Florence Otedola, ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, Ibukun Awosika , H.E Akwinwole Omoboriowo (11), Fatimi Wali-Abdurrahman and many others were present.
According to Wimbiz, this year’s conference will close with an After Party that promises to be unforgettable. This year’s Annual Conference promises to be an engaging and insightful experience for all participants.
Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) is a non-profit organisation that has, over the last 22 years, implemented programs that inspire, empower and advocate for a greater representation of women in leadership positions in the public and private sector.
