WIMBIZ announces theme for 24th annual conference: O.W.N – Own. Walk. Nurture.

Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has announced the theme for its 24th Annual Conference: O.W.N – Own. Walk. Nurture.


WIMBIZ, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to attain leadership roles, confirmed that the landmark event scheduled to take place on November 6–7, 2025 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, will bring together over 2,000 women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, policymakers, and visionaries from across Africa and the globe.


According to the Executive Director, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, the theme “O.W.N – Own. Walk. Nurture.” reflects WIMBIZ’s commitment to inspiring women to take ownership of their journeys, walk with purpose and authenticity, and nurture the next generation of leaders. It captures the essence of leadership, resilience, and community core values that continue to define the WIMBIZ movement.


Akingbohungbe confirmed that over the two-day event, attendees can expect thought-provoking keynote speeches, engaging panel sessions, networking opportunities, inspiring conversations and entertainment that will empower women to lead boldly and create impact across sectors.
