Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has addressed allegations regarding his conduct with colleague Bambam, amid rumours of a marital crisis between the actress and her husband, Teddy A.
Speculation that Arukwe is romantically involved with the thespian surfaced following the 2025 release of the YouTube film Love In Every Word, in which the pair played lovers.
Recently, fears that Bambam’s marriage to fellow Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Teddy A is heading for divorce heightened after the couple unfollowed each other on social media.
While she has remained relatively silent—despite recently sharing proof of her marital status online—her husband addressed past domestic violence allegations, dismissing them as false.
However, as the marriage continues to face public scrutiny, an X user identified as “Stay Wicked” alleged that the union had already collapsed because Bambam had fallen pregnant by Arukwe.
The user also claimed Teddy A discovered the affair through a leaked chat, adding that “women are not to be trusted.”
Reacting to the post as it went viral, Arukwe declared that he would be taking legal action against those spreading the rumours, warning that they would face consequences for damaging his reputation.
He confirmed that a specific account has been identified.
He wrote: “A specific account has been identified for spreading false rumours and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with a colleague in the industry. I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to provide the engagement they seek at the risk of jail time.
“Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and ‘Elon Musk money’ at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation.”
