Says, Founder of Jehovah Eyes Salvation Ministry, Prophet Godwin Ikuru, as his reason of chosing fuel to other palliatives like food stuffs other meaningful Nigerians has been embarking upon even the government.

Prophet Godwin Ikuru has embarked in a free fuel distribution to communities as his one way of supporting the government in it’s pallatives measures of cushioning the effects of subsidy removal that has resulted in an unfortunate, and difficult situation for citizens in the country.

For the last two weeks, he has reached to a number of commercial and private drivers with his fuel pallatives. He visited Alimosho, Ikeja, Itire in Surulere and on Friday, September 1, he pushed further to Island Lagos, where he distributed free 10 liters of fuel at Heyden Fuel station, VGC bus stop, Lagos.

In all of this, one would ask, what is his drive?
“It is the love for the people and the love for the government. Nigeria is one people, one nation. We all should collaborate together to think of what we can do for the people that are using the fuel mostly, transporters. It’s a three journey. We are moving gently,” he said.

Prophet, Ikuru never stopped mentioning the federal government under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu in any visit to distribute the free fuel.
When asked by Gwamcee News, he said; the federal government is a pilot to every idea. We must recognise them as a pilot. I recognise their support because they gave a go ahead,”
“Tinubu is a man I love so much and I believe in his government to deliver good result. Its my own way of supporting his government too,” he repeated.
Prophet Ikuru distribution of free fuel is a plus to motorist. Especially now that fuel is priced at approximately, 600 naira in some regions. The distribution of 10 liters amounts to 6000 naira in Island, Lagos.
Many who spoke with Gwamcee News said the free fuel is a boost to their business, more profit to what they would have made in a day, while others said it is a relief to them as they could not afford to buy up to 10 liters of fuel at a stretch.

John Sunday, an Uber driver says its a great opportunity for him to have received a 10 liter fuel. “He is doing a great job. May God bless him.”
From a dispatch Rider: “God don butter my bread. I am very grateful for this free 10 liters of fuel. God go bless the Prophet.
“I have no other thing to say, than, God should bless them. This is good. Anything to make things easier for Nigerians, it’s good,” a car owner expressed.
“If other churches, and other capable individuals continues like that, Nigeria will be better. I am happy and I pray that God continues to enrich them and Nigerians too. I want to encourage them and others who can do the same to reach out to the grassroot. Because, they need it more, Commercial driver.

For Aska Emmanuel, a dispatch Rider, it has been difficult for him to buy fuel for his business but, left with no choice than to manage. ”I no dey buy up to 10 liters. But, this one go help me well well. I go use till tomorrow and I go make good profit from am. I pray God to bless this man for us. And make people wey fit do this kind thing and never start, make them start o,” he said.
“this has increased my fuel a bit, before now I have got a fuel of 10,000 naira, and it didn’t take me anywhere. But, this is a plus to me. Whoever this person is, God will bless him. This are the kind of leaders we need. The kind of people we need in this critical time. If only our government can relate to what this person is doing, the cry of the masses will reduce,” Paul Sunday testifies.
“I thank this church. God will bless this church ehh, I know that their glory will not go down. We should endure with the present government, that everything will be alright. Those that have should also emulate from him, Commercial driver, Ebukole said.
”God will continue to help the ministry as they are helping us. The government and other meaningful Nigerians should hands together in ensuring that the country gets better, Mattew, a car hire advised.

Ibrahim, said he got 5liters and the five litters will give him like 20,000 naira as a rider. ” When I dey buy 3liters, I dey still make like 8, 10,000 naira. So this 5 liters, I go get, 20,000 naira from am.
He pleaded on government to please, help them reduce the price to at least 200 naira so that the people can rejoice.
A young woman, Buwa, said she heard they are were distributing free fuel at the fuel station, so she drove in and saw it was real.

On the site, she could not hold back her joy as she cheerfully shared: “This is humane gestures from the man of God. It is rare to see a thing like this. I want to use this medium to encourage other Nigerians who are capable of doing this, to do so to reduce the stress of Nigerians to come and in mass to support Nigerians. Nigerians are going to alot. They may not look it, but, they are within them. Even me.
”This will save my bank account. I can afford to send money to my mother for up keep. So, God will bless him. Please, I need people like this to come out so I can save for my family. And you know school fees has come up.”

The free fuel pallatives will still go on till it goes round, the prophet disclosed.
