Nigerian singer and TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has admitted that his spoken English needs improvement.
He made this known during a recent livestream with his colleague, Enzo, while expressing regret over his inability to speak the language fluently.
Peller’s decision to return to school came amid his breakup with his older girlfriend, Jarvis.
The conversation began with the show host, Enzo asking Peller to formally introduce himself.
“Just tell them in English that your name is Peller,” he requested.
Responding, the social media influencer said, “In English? E no go go (It won’t work).”
Probing further, Enzo asked, “So, you’re telling me that if [IShow]Speed comes, you are not going to talk to him? Because he just called me to say he’s coming tomorrow.”
Peller admitted he would rather avoid the meeting because he might not be able to express himself properly.
“I no go even see am (I won’t even see him). My English is very bad, but I dey go university soon to study Arts,” he said. TheNiche
