Nigeria’s Opay has solidified its position as a frontrunner in the country’s fintech landscape, earning global recognition from CNBC and Statista as the leading Nigerian digital platform in the Digital payment category. This acknowledgement highlights Opay’s commitment to innovation and its significant contributions to the digital payment ecosystem in Nigeria.

Opay was recognized by CNBC and Statista in their global rankings based on extensive evaluation of various fintech platforms worldwide, with it emerging as the sole Nigerian digital platform in the Digital Payment category.

The 200 companies that featured in the evaluation process were judged methodically and meticulously, scrutinizing their performance on user volume, transaction volume and revenue respectively. The categories for assessments are: neo banking, digital payments, digital assets, digital financial planning, digital wealth management, alternate financing, alternate lending, digital banking solutions, and digital business solutions.

This recognition serves as a testament to opay’s continuous efforts to revolutionize the financial services in Nigeria. Through its mobile app, Opay provides users with a wide range of digital payment solutions, including money transfers, bills payments, and merchant services.
