LSSTF presents operational vehicle to FRSC to boost road safety operations

The Lagos State Government has further demonstrated its commitment to road safety and security with the presentation of an operational vehicle to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Lagos Sector Command, through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) to enhance mobility, rapid response, and effective field operations, particularly in enforcement, rescue, and traffic management activities across Lagos State.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by Oluwadamilola Jayeola, Superintendent Route Commander Sector Public Education Officer.

According to the statement, the vehicle was formally handed over to the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat, by the Director of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Mr. Lewis Adegbola, on behalf of the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan.

Speaking during the presentation, the Sector Commander expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, for the continued support extended to the Command. He assured that the operational vehicle would be strategically deployed and properly maintained to further improve operational efficiency and promote safer motoring within the state.

Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat also lauded the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his unwavering support to security and safety agencies, as well as his proactive approach towards reducing road traffic crashes and strengthening emergency response capabilities across Lagos State.

The FRSC Lagos Sector Commander reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to justifying the confidence reposed in it through professionalism, accountability, and enhanced service delivery, in full alignment with national road safety objectives.
