Four rescued as Helicopter crashes into a building in Lagos

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said four has been rescued from a helicopter crash scene in Lagos on Tuesday.

The helicopter which crashed into a building according to source occured around 3:30pm at Oba Akran in Ikeja, Lagos.

The chopper whose details were yet unknown, was said to exploded as soon as it landed on the building located adjacent AP filling station and United Bank for Africa (UBA) on the commercial avenue.

NEMA’s Lagos Territorial Office Coordinator, Ibrahim Farinloye who confirmed the crash, said rescue operations were ongoing.

He said details were still sketchy, adding that information would be provided as soon as they were available.

NEMA said that the four persons that was rescued comprising, two white and two black men.

The scene is causing hysteria in the area as residents are engulfed with fear.
